In 2023, I successfully secured a spot in the Get Coding mentorship program, administered by TechNL. This program empowers individuals to pivot their careers into the dynamic tech industry by equipping them with the essential tools and skills demanded by today's developers. Participants are paired with local mentors who provide expert guidance throughout each learning module.
For my Module One project, I designed and developed GameGuide using a skillset comprising HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript. By utlizing information from an API, GameGuide allows users to effortlessly explore the latest trending games, conveniently sort them by name or release year, and even curate a personalized library of selected games for future reference. Game enthusiasts can dive deeper into their favorite titles by accessing comprehensive details about each chosen game.
